1. What documents do I need to rent a scooter in Bali?
For Indonesian citizens, you must be at least 18 years old. You must have a valid motorcycle class driver’s license.
For Foreigners, you must have a Valid International Driving Permit (IDP) or an international motorcycle license.
Foreigners are required to provide a Passport Copy during booking or delivery. These documents ensure your safety, avoid fines, and keep your rental compliant with Indonesian regulations.
2. Is driving a scooter in Bali safe?
Yes — As long as you Follow Local Traffic Rules, wear a Helmet, and Drive Defensively.
Bali Roads can Get Crowded, especially in Kuta, Canggu, Seminyak, and Ubud. Experience Riding a Scooter is Recommended for a Smooth and Safe Journey.
3. Do I get helmets and raincoats with the rental?
Absolutely. Two Helmets and a Raincoat are included in your daily rental at no additional cost.
Wearing a helmet is mandatory under Indonesian law.
4. Is insurance included?
Insurance coverage applies only if the scooter is rented under proper documentation (IDP + Passport Copy).
Losing or Damaging the Scooter, Helmets, Keys, or STNK is Not Covered by Insurance and The Renter is Responsible for Replacement Fees.
5. What happens if I lose the scooter keys, helmet, or raincoat?
- Helmet loss: 150.000 IDR each
- “Normal Key” loss: 150.000 IDR
- “Keyless” (Smart Key System) loss: 500.000 IDR
- Raincoat loss: 60.000 IDR
6. What is the STNK, and what if I lose it?
The STNK is The Official Vehicle Registration Document required by Indonesian law. We provide the original STNK during your rental so you can legally pass police checkpoints.
Replacement Cost for a Loss of STNK: 600,000 IDR
7. What areas do you deliver the scooter to?
We offer free delivery and pickup for:
- Denpasar Airport
- Kuta
- Legian
For other areas or delivery between (09:00 – 21:00), a small additional charge applies.
8. What should I do if I get stopped by the police?
Stay calm, be polite, and show:
- Your International Driving Permit
- Your passport copy
- The Scooter STNK
If You Do Not Have a Valid Driving License, You Must Resolve The Issue Yourself with The Authorities. We cannot intervene in Police-Related matters caused by invalid documentation.
9. What fuel should I use?
Most Scooters Run Perfectly on Pertalite (Green) or Pertamax (Blue). Both are Widely Available Throughout Bali.
We strongly advise renters not to refuel at the warung since the petrol quality is hazardous for the engine.
10. What should I do if the scooter breaks down?

Customer Responsibilities.
Customers Agree to:
Ride safely and follow local traffic laws
Use helmets at all times
Do not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Maintain the scooter responsibly
Secure the scooter to prevent theft
The Scooter Must Not Be Used For:
- Racing
- Off-Road Riding
- Illegal Activities
- Transporting Heavy Items
- Carrying more than 2 passengers
During the rental period, if there is any breakdown incident caused by misuse mentioned above, the customer is held responsible for the repair fees.
Damage, Loss, and Accidents.
Customers Are Responsible For Any:
- Damage to the scooter
- Missing parts
- Cosmetic scratches
- Accidents caused by negligence
Repair fees will be based on standard workshop (“Bengkel”) prices. We do not inflate or exaggerate repair costs.
If insurance is purchased, coverage depends on policy terms.
